Hampton Roads Pride is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated celebration of diversity, love, and inclusion with its Pride Weekend Celebrations, set to ignite the region throughout June. The highlight of this month-long celebration will be the weekend of June 26-28, featuring a diverse set of events that promise to be unforgettable.

Friday, June 26, 2026 - 13th Annual PrideFest Block Party

Pride Weekend kicks off at Town Point Park in Downtown Norfolk with the 13th Annual PrideFest Block Party. This year’s celebration moves outdoors to deliver an elevated waterfront experience featuring live drag performances, multiple DJs, dancing, and food vendors. The event’s entertainment will include RuPaul’s Drag Race stars LaLa Ri and Crystal Envy with special performances and appearances. This 18+ event promises a joyful evening of music, celebration, and connection as Hampton Roads Pride officially kicks off the weekend festivities.

Saturday, June 27, 2026 - 38th Annual Hampton Roads PrideFest & Boat Parade

The celebration continues Saturday with the commonwealth’s largest Pride festival at Town Point Park in Norfolk. The 38th Annual Hampton Roads PrideFest & Boat Parade will feature live entertainment across four stages, community resources, local businesses, educational programming, food vendors, and a dedicated family area.

Attendees can also experience the nation’s only Pride Boat Parade along the Elizabeth River, a signature Hampton Roads tradition that continues to draw national attention.

Entertainment throughout the day will include Jennifer Warner, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Mia Starr, Richmond Allied Voices, music by community favorite DJ Anelz, and Nashville-based pop/rock duo 76th Street as the festival’s featured headliner.

76th Street, composed of lifelong best friends Haley Gold and Spencer Bryant, has gained national attention for emotionally driven songwriting, rich harmonies, and unapologetically queer storytelling. Their breakout single “Girl” became a viral LGBTQ+ anthem, amassing more than 5 million streams across platforms and resonating with audiences worldwide.

Sunday, June 28, 2026 - 6th Annual Pride at the Beach

Closing out the weekend, Pride at the Beach returns to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront for a high-energy beachfront celebration featuring live entertainment, curated DJ sets, food trucks, community vendors, and VIP experiences.

The event begins with the annual Pride at the Beach march for LGBTQIA+ rights on the boardwalk and culminates with a headline performance by RuPaul’s Drag Race star Hershii Liqcour-Jete and GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Destin Conrad.

Destin Conrad has emerged as one of contemporary R&B’s most innovative voices, earning acclaim for his debut album LOVE ON DIGITAL, which debuted at No. 3 on Apple Music’s R&B/Soul Albums chart and has accumulated more than 44 million streams globally. Conrad recently completed a 43-show international headline tour and continues to push genre boundaries with his latest jazz-inspired project wHIMSY.

Throughout June, events will fill the calendar, offering something for everyone to enjoy. You can look forward to festivals in each of the seven cities, including Portsmouth Pride, Phabulous Phoebus (Hampton), Newport News Pride, and Pride in the Peake (Chesapeake). Hampton Roads Pride will also hold inclusive and celebratory events with the Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk Tides, Norfolk Botanical Garden, breweries across the region, and community groups to demonstrate that Hampton Roads is a region that celebrates all its residents. These events are all designed to bring the community together in a shared celebration of love and acceptance.

“Hampton Roads Pride Weekend is more than a celebration; it's a reflection of the strength, diversity, and resilience of our region,” said Jamar Davis, President of Hampton Roads Pride. “We are proud to create spaces where everyone can gather authentically, celebrate freely, and feel seen and supported.”
