Screening of “Moonlight”

The film, Moonlight, explores how factors of race and poverty impact a young man’s search for identity. Moonlight’s story is told through colors, sounds, and subtext, and it can be interpreted in many ways. Many people, even those who aren’t queer or Black, can find something in this film that speaks to them.

We have designated August’s Second Sunday collection to show this movie and fund other events to educate and celebrate LGBTQIA+ culture.
