A DAY OF MUSIC, POETRY & GOOD TROUBLE

On Jan. 7, 2026 Renee Good, a poet and graduate of ODU's Creative Writing program, was shot and killed by ICE Agents on the streets of Minneapolis while sitting peacefully in her car. This Day of Music, Poetry & Good Trouble will raise funds to go towards an annual award in Renee Good's name, to honor her courage and sacrifice and to be awarded annually to an ODU student whose poetry follows in the tradition of peaceful protest and Good Trouble that defined the life and tragic untimely death of Renee Good.
1pm :: Poetry reading at the Spirit Rock on campus (Navigate to ODU Webb Center)
1:30pm :: March for Renee from campus to the taproom
2pm kicks off LIVE MUSIC on the Elated Stage ::
