Step into a roaring good time at Tap Into Virginia Opera – our annual beer-tasting bash returning with a 1920s Winter Beer Garden twist. The Harrison Opera House transforms into a cozy, Prohibition-era hideout filled with great brews, local bites, and a touch of speakeasy glam.

Get to know your fellow opera lovers while sampling pours from some of the region’s best breweries and cideries. Explore our secret speakeasy, shop local vendors, and enjoy a carefree night out!

Food trucks will be parked nearby serving delicious eats for purchase. Your ticket includes all beer sampling throughout the evening.

Dress for the Jazz Age and drink like it’s Prohibition!

Proceeds from the event go towards Virginia Opera’s Civic Engagement programs, which expose thousands of students to the world of opera!
