The Equity in Action team is committed to providing shared learning opportunities for City of Norfolk employees and enhanced access to programs and services for residents.
The Equity in Action division works to embed equity and inclusion in the city culture through a continuum of services. Through the Equity Ambassadors Training initiative, we equip city employees to share Diversity, Equity and Inclusion tools and resources with their respective departments. Each graduate of the training develops a project designed to create a more equitable and inclusive environment.
