Democracy, Not Theocracy
We are excited to announce a special presentation with the American Humanist Association’s new Executive Director Fish Stark, on Sunday night, Oct. 13th, in our Sanctuary from 2 PM to 5:30 PM.
Stark is a lifelong humanist and the son of Rep. Pete Stark – the first open non-theist in Congress and the 2008 Humanist of the Year – Stark brings an impressive array of experience to the AHA.
He will discuss the dangers of Project 2025 and Christian Nationalism, followed by screening the short documentary “Suppressed and Sabotaged: The Fight to Vote.” After the presentation, we will write postcards in the Social Hall to help raise awareness about Project 2025.
Feel free to bring your friends and family – this discussion is free and open to the public.
