Black Trans Voices Town Hall

Join Thriving Transmen of Color and Equality Virginia on Saturday December 9th for Elevating Black Trans Voices Town Hall in Portsmouth, VA.
This town hall, moderated by Anjeni Moore, will provide a platform for Black transgender individuals to have their voices heard, share their experiences, and address issues specific to their intersectional identities by highlighting discrimination, healthcare disparities, violence, and social marginalization.
Throughout this Town Hall, we will discuss policy changes that can address the unique needs of the Black transgender community to reduce stigma, promote understanding, and foster allyship.
Doors open at 5:00 pm. Dinner and meet-n-greet from 5:00-6:00 pm. Town Hall and community discussion begins at 6:00 pm.
