Monkeypox Vaccination Clinic at the Wave

The Wave in Norfolk will host a monkeypox vaccine clinic this Saturday. The Virginia Beach Department of Public Health is providing 300 of the monkeypox vaccines at The Wave on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. for eligible patients.

The vaccine clinic is appointment-only.

To be eligible for the vaccine, Virginia residents of any gender or sexual orientation must meet one of the following criteria: have had anonymous or multiple sexual partners in the past two weeks; be sex workers; or be staff at establishments where sexual activity occurs, such as bath houses, saunas and sex clubs.
