OBX Pridefest returns this weekend for its 12th year

Post Labor Day beachgoers will be thrilled to hear that the Outer Banks’ premiere Pride event, OBX Pridefest  takes place this weekend with a packed calendar of events ranging from the free family-friendly main event to drag performances.

The weekend kicks off Friday evening with the Official Kick Off Party from 
5 to 7:30PM at the Outer Banks Brewing Station with DJ Styles.

Keep the party going at Brewing Station after our kick-off party with the Pride & Joy Drag Show starting that night at 10. Tickets are on sale now.

The traditional Friday night Booze Cruise is sold out, but if you did not get tickets to the cruise there is no need to worry. This event is a great alternative.

Stick around after the kickoff party for the Pride & Joy Drag Show from10PM until 2 AM with DJ KO and the queens. Drinks and food are available for purchase, but not included in the individual ticket sale price.

On Saturday, join your family for the Pride Festival, the main event of the weekend, from 1 PM – 7 PM at the Roanoke Island Festival Park on the historic waterfront in Manteo, NC.

Join us on Saturday for an afternoon of live music with The Storyweavers (1:30 PM) and Momma’s Black Sheep (3:30 PM). Plus drag performances by Jennifer Warner and Co. And of course local arts and crafts, nonprofits, souvenir vendors, and food from local restaurants.

The always-popular Drag Brunch on Sunday is sold out, but there may be no-shows, so if you “dare,” you might be able to snag a ticket at the door.

Join host, Jennifer Warner, DJ KO, and the queens as they begin to close out the weekend with the outrageously fun Sunday Drag Brunch. Purchase individual tickets for admission to the Brunch/Drag Show. Your admission includes the show, the brunch, and coffee or tea. Full Cash Bar available! Brunch starts at 11:00 AM with the Drag Show starting soon after.

The Drag Brunch will take place from 11 AM until 2 PM at the Gut Busters Comedy Club room at the Comfort Inn on the Ocean in Kill Devil Hills at 1601 S. Virginia Dare Trail.

And if you still have the energy, the Survivors Wrap Party will commence at 3 PM at Old Tom’s Wine and Provisions.
