This past weekend Tidewater Taillights, Hampton Roads’ Lambda Car Club, held its final meeting and send off dinner after bringing together local LGBTQ car enthusiasts since 1988. Founded by Mason Gamage, the Hampton Roads club was one of Lambda Car Club International’s most active chapters, which at one time boasted more than 1500 members worldwide.
In May 2018, Outlife757 Magazine produced and published a photo essay featuring Tidewater Taillights and many of the Hampton Roads LGBTQ community. This was one of our most favorite days ever, and we remember Tidewater Taillights fondly as a safe space to make countless new friends and share a passion for cars.
