Join Norfolk Arts in partnership with Tidewater Community College Visual Arts + Design Center as we present "Ink & Exposure", a group exhibition by local artists, Michal Mitak Mahgerefteh, Heather Mitcham and Victor Perotti. The exhibition explores the expressive possibilities of cyanotype, ink and photography and the ways that light, process, and material can transform an image. Michal is a Norfolk, Virginia based mixed media artist and poet whose creative journey spans over two decades in both visual and literary arts. Virginia Beach based printmaker, Heather Mitcham, finds the printmaking process to “nestle snugly into her busy life.” Heather refers to her cyanotypes and paper marbling's as “cyano-experiments”. Virginia Beach based photographer, Victor Perrotti is a collector of light. He seeks to find connections between varied juxtaposed elements and attempts to capture those that take the form of oscillating objects yearning for an expansive environment.
