Friday's Block Party: Outer Limits

The weekend kicked off with a bang at Town Point Park on Friday night, where the Block Party transformed the waterfront into a vibrant celebration of music, art, and connection. The energy was electric as attendees gathered to kick off the Pride Weekend festivities. Performers and community organizations created an atmosphere that welcomed everyone—whether they were Pride veterans or experiencing the celebration for the first time.

The Block Party served as the perfect opening act, setting expectations high for the full weekend ahead and giving the community a chance to reconnect with old friends while making new ones. Headliners were LaLa Ri and Crystal Envy.

Saturday's PrideFest: Anchored in Pride

Saturday's PrideFest at Town Point Park was the centerpiece of the weekend—and it proved that nothing stops Pride from happening. Despite challenging weather conditions, the community showed up in full force to celebrate. Sunday at the Beach: Anchored in Pride

As the weekend wrapped up, the celebration moved to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, where Pride at the Beach took over the 31st Street park. Despite rain on Sunday, the community wasn't deterred. Participants gathered by the 31st Street Stage to continue the Pride spirit, surrounded by the natural beauty of the coast and the warmth of community.

The beach location added a special dimension to the weekend—there's something uniquely meaningful about celebrating Pride by the water, where the horizon stretches beyond what we can see and represents endless possibility. Rain or shine, the community gathered to honor that sentiment. Headliners were 76th Street, Crystal Envy, Hershii Liqour-Jete, and Jai'Len Josey.
