Outlife757 recently unveiled a new community initiative designed to bring LGBTQ-owned and allied businesses together in an alliance designed to champion, connect, and empower LGBTQ+ and allied businesses throughout Hampton Roads, fostering a thriving, inclusive, and equitable local economy.

Founder Eric Hause said, “The Hampton Roads LGBTQ Business Alliance is designed to ensure that Hampton Roads is a region where diversity is celebrated as an economic driver and where every LGBTQ+ entrepreneur and professional has the resources to succeed.”

The Alliance will offer tangible benefits such as:

• The HRBA Directory, a comprehensive, searchable directory of LGBTQ+-owned and allied businesses to encourage intentional spending and B2B commerce. 

• Amplification of member businesses through dedicated social media features, newsletter spotlights, and community event partnerships.

•  Quarterly seminars and workshops focusing on business scaling, financial literacy, inclusive marketing, and navigating current economic landscapes. 

• Monthly mixers, “Out & About” networking socials, and annual flagship events (such as business awards) designed to build authentic professional relationships.

• Providing local employers with tools, best practices, and training to foster safer, more inclusive workplace cultures for LGBTQ+ employees.

• Serving as the collective voice for the LGBTQ+ business community, advocating for inclusive economic policies at the local and state levels.
