How We Put DEI into Action

• Inclusive Representation: We strive to ensure our content, events, and coverage reflect the full diversity of the 757’s LGBTQ+ community, with a deliberate focus on amplifying historically marginalized voices, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), transgender, nonbinary, and neurodivergent community members.

• Equitable Access: We are dedicated to maintaining a website and digital resource directory that is accessible, user-friendly, and open to all members of our community without barrier.

• Community Partnership: We partner with local businesses, non-profits, and advocates who share our dedication to creating safe, affirmative spaces throughout Coastal Virginia.

• Continuous Learning & Accountability: Inclusion is an ongoing journey. We actively listen to feedback from our readers and community partners, holding ourselves accountable to continuous growth, unlearning bias, and adapting to the evolving needs of our region.
